Danny Sullivan* (Philly) came to Chicago in the late 1980s during The International Theater Festival to perform in The Body Politic’s A Whistle in the Dark, directed by playwright Tom Murphy. His performances as a six-year member of The New American Theater Company include The Voice of the Prairie, Long Day’s Journey into Night, Dancing at Lughnasa, The Brighton Beach Trilogy, Guys and Dolls, Inherit the Wind, and Grapes of Wrath. Other Chicago credits include Six Degrees of Separation with Marlo Thomas, Prelude to a Kiss with Barbara Harris, and Othello at the Court Theatre. He also performed in Le Damnation De Faust at the Lyric Opera, The Importance of Being Ernest at the Beloit Festival, and Of Mice and Men, directed by the great Sheldon Patinkin at Bog Theater. Film and TV credits include Payback, To Live and Die in Dixie, Soap Dish, Cup Of My Blood, Early Edition, Chicago PD and Crisis.
